Film Analysis

OW: Robin Hood starts off as an archer for the king, and just dominates people at the start at this battles.  He pounds everyone, then sticks up to the king, so then he gets locked up.  I guess he is just norminally a Bad A in his ordinary world.

Call to Adventure: The problem is, Robin Hood mouths off to the king and gets locked up, and that pisses him off pretty bad.  Luckily the king is killed, so Robin's body comes and releases them from the little trap their stuck in, and they steal some horses and take off on their own journey.

Refusal of the Call: Robin Hood is way to legit to ever turn down a challenge, so I don't think he refuses the call, I can't really remember a time when he does at least, he's down for anything.  I guess you could say the refusal of the call is when him and his buddies are locked up, because he mouthed off to the king, so they can't fight with their army, or even escape until one of their other friends comes and helps them out.

Meeting with the Mentor: You could say he meets with the mentor when they show up at an ambush, kill all the french people, and he talks to the man from nottingham, makes a promise with him, and then continues on his journey, pretending to be this man that has been killed in the ambush.

Crossing the Threshhold: Robin Hood decides to impersonate Robert Locksling of Nottingham, and go on deliver the kings crown, and act like he is a Knight, who is very important and known, instead of just the old measley archer he was before that didnt mean much to the world.

Test, Allies, Enemies: The French man and their ambush try to take on Robin Hood and his gang as they are going to the king's palace, but of course, Robin Hood and his boys take them out and completely wreck them, so it wasn't much of a test.

Approach:  They show up and the new king starts appointing all the wrong people, and causing problems for all of the people in England.  His chancellor is a back stabber and a french man, and when Robin Hood gets to Nottingham, he has to start acting like someone who he is not, and act as a husband to this one lady.

Ordeal: They Round up the armies and meet the french on the sea shore, and there is a huge battle.  The English catch them off guard, but it still is a good fight.  Robin and the chancellor end up battling, and it's an intense battle.  The chancellor tries to escape on a horse and run away, but Robin is deadly with his bow, and snipes in down from quite the distance, right through his neck.  It was an unreal shot.

Reward:  Robin Hood saves his girl, that he has grown to love, and gets a nice make out session on the beach, and they live happily ever after, i think.

The Road Back:  They think all is fixed, and the king will give them freedom, until they get back and are having a meeting with all the people.  The king tells them how he has changed his mind and will break his promise.  He is jealous of Robin Hood and says he is an outlaw, and orders any Englishmen to kill him if they see him.  The people are extremely dissapointed in their king and pretty pissed off.

Resurrection:  Robin Hood survives all this and is now living with his girl and his friends amongst the orphan boys.  He loves it because they do it the right way, they share what they all have, there is no rich or poor, they just all have each other's backs and try to help the whole rather than the individual.

Return with Elixir: He has his girl, and they live peacefully, away from all the problems, and with each other.  He still has his friends around him, and now he has the orphans, whom he likes a lot, and teaches his skills to.  This is the life he likes to live.

Adaptation

Once upon a time a young lad and his wife were just about to have their first born child. Times were hard and so the lad had to have a couple jobs, just to get by. The wife was due at any time now, but so was the house payment. The man had to take up work on the Edmunsd Fitzgerald for this trip, as bad as he didn't want to, and as bad as his wife didn't want to, he had to. It was getting late in the year and these trips were very dangerous at times. The wife had a terrible feeling, but they had to make rent to make sure they had this house when the baby was born.

So the man took this job and hopped on the Edmunsd Fitzgerald, for one last delivery, in late November. There was a weird feeling on the boat; everyone was pretty scared, because they knew how rough the gales could be, especially in November. The captain was experienced though, and explained to the crew that they would be okay, if everyone just did their job and they tried to get there as soon as possible. The young lad’s job was down in the engine room, he was in charge of repairing it and doing the necessary maintenance. This man was not on the deck to see how rough the sea was getting and how the storm was getting worse and worse. The boat started to rock back and forth. Everyone knew what was happening. There was a sense of panic on board, but the experienced captain told everyone to calm down and do their job, and they’d all be fine. The problem was everything just kept getting worse. The wind blew harder, and the boat rocked faster. The Fitzgerald was supposedly impossible to sink, but as the storm grew, people started to doubt that, and grew worried for their lives. The lad was particularly worried, he had to get back to his wife, he was just about to have a kid. He knew he shouldn’t of left her so close to when the baby was supposed to be born. He started to imagine his kid’s life without him there, but then realized he had to try to get back to them, he wasn’t going down without a fight. Everyone on board was working their hardest to get all the water off the boat that had come on, but the waves kept getting bigger and more water kept getting on. Soon the boat couldn’t take it anymore. Crew members started falling overboard and the boat slowly started to sink. Everyone knew this was it. They all realized they would never see their family’s again. It was a terrible feeling. The young lad fell over board. He struggled for life but couldn’t make it. His first born baby boy was born two days later.

Grand Theft Poetry

At seven I was a soldier,
At nine i was a prince.
Faster than fairies,
Faster then witches.
I was THE boy who laughed at Santa Claus.
But i still dreamed... more then most you could say.
A discovery, waiting there in my dream,
For a young kid such as i to grasp it.
I had to find it!
But it seemed so tough, impossible at times.
A stranger to tears, i did not cry.
But i must say, i wanted to.
Oh this treasure was so special to me.
I was almost there, i had been working so hard to find it.
And then, right as i was about to find this glorious treasure,
right when all my childhood dreams were about to come true,
"Phillip! Wake up! It's time for school!"
Devastated.
Crushed.
You've got to be kidding me.
