The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald (Gordon Lightfoot)
The Edmund Fitzgerald is headed to deliver a shipment when a huge storm comes in. The crew is very experienced, but their experience isn't quite enough.  The storm sinks the ship and kills all of the crew.  It's terribly sad because the Edmund Fitzgerald was said to be impossible to sink.
Forever and Always (Taylor Swift)
Jo is a tomboy in highschool.  She's never dated or cared to date, until a certain young man moved into the neighborhood.  He sits next to her in class, and then falls in love.  It doesn't end up working out for them, and this song shows all the struggles of teenage love.
The Devil Went Down to Georgia
One day the Devil went down to Georgia to see if he could find someone worthy enough to challenge him to a fiddle battle.  He hears about a young lad name Jonny, and challenges him to a match.  They make a bet though, if the devil wins he gets to keep Jonny's soul, but if Jonny wins then he gets to keep the Devil's golden fiddle.  It is an intense battle, and an excellent story.
Mockingbird (Eminem)
Eminem and his family live in a rough part of town and keep running into trouble.  They keep getting robbed.  He is fed up with this so he decides to go to California and make a record, so that he can make enough money to get his family out of this neighborhood.  Will it be enough though? Can his record be a hit?
Just a Friend (Biz Markie)
Biz meets a fine young lady at one of his concerts.  He is very interested in her and starts to pursue her.  He goes on to find out more about her and see if she has a boyfriend.  She responds, "No, he's just a friend."  Biz is confused, but still atracted.  He decides to surprise her and college, only to find her snogging with some dude that claims to be her boyfriend.
